I want to start of by saying I have been going to compassionate family health since 2018 after moving to Visalia. Initially I had no issue with Dr. Soloniuk-Tays (despite hearing horror stories) I never had any prior issues & thought she was great at addressing my needs. Brenda Kent was my absolute favorite, kind & COMPASSIONATE, always listened & patient (sadly she retired). Since Brenda retired this place just seems to be falling apart. I’ve experienced so many issues with them never answering the phone (if you are a patient I know you can relate). Their voicemail is always full & they seem to be having a revolving door of new staff (I’m sure that there’s a reason they can’t keep their staff). I stopped feeling heard & felt like visits turned rushed & like I was just another insurance claim for them to bill. I recently had the worst experience I have ever had with any “professional” establishment. I still can’t believe the way their staff (office manager, front office staff, & Dr. S

Opposite of Compassionate
I had a long term patient relationship with Brenda Kent, a nurse practitioner working in the office of Dr. Gaylene Soloniux-Tays. Brenda was a kind, loving and dedicated individual but she retired and I recently met Dr. Tays for the first time when she performed my annual Medicare wellness check. From the time I entered the room she was oozing barely concealed hostility, her words were dripping with meanness and sarcasm. I am nearly 80 years of age but still directing a nonprofit organization serving the disadvantaged, many of whom I have taken into my home and nursed both physically and psychologically back to health. So it was shocking to confront such a manifestation of pure negativity in a doctor's office, who apparently forgot the part of the Hippocratic oath to first do no harm, meaning either physical or psychological harm. Needless to say I will never go back to her and immediately located another primary care physician.
