Provider was late, abrupt and did not seem to care.

I thought I was receiving good care until my annual visit. Three months after my appointment I received a bill for a third party to review my routine lab results. My provider had already reviewed them with me by phone prior to this. No one ever told me I would be billed $104 for a third party to review my labs when my provider had already done so. Lab review is a routine part of a practice that has never incurred a charge. The fact that I was not informed but was told that I agreed to it when I signed consent to bill insurance, does not constitute informed consent. Additionally, the terms of the consent are not available on the e-sign pad for anyone to read. This is strictly a revenue generating method that is deceptive given that it was not explained prior to the appointment. If this had been for interpretation of xray or pathology, I could understand as this requires a specialist. This is unnecessary, deceptive and pure greed. No transparency and do not recommend.
