Reached out to reschedule a new patient appt I had Oct 2023 in Sept 2023 due to conflict and the next available appt was late December via text. It was never confirmed that it was booked and would have expected like every other dr office in the state to get a reminder given it was months away. Since there was no reminder I did not know I had an appt and was in the middle of dealing with a personal emergency. They sent me a bill trying charge me a no show fee for appointment and when I explained that I didn't receive any reminder they said that was a courtesy but not standard practice which is ridiculous. They said they would waive the fee this time and I explained that I would not be continue with this practice.
