I’ve never been made feel so small and insignificant by a doctor or an office. My new patient consult with Dr. Yglesias was rushed. He dismissed my questions and made the super short visit so uncomfortable that I was scared to ask anymore questions and he didn’t even ask if I had any questions. I’m not sure why he’s like this but the experience ruined my whole day to where I found myself crying. Feeling like you’re bothering and inconveniencing your doctor is a crap feeling. I’m a very soft spoken person so it’s not like I was abrasive. I worked with oncologists for decades so I’m very aware of how both patients and doctors should be treated. I emailed the office and no one replied. This morning my appointment was cancelled with an 1 hours notice. I was basically kicked out of the practice in the simplest way possible. I’m now looking for a new rheumatologist after wasting 3 weeks waiting for this follow up.

If you truly care about your health please don’t come here. My mother who’s diagnosed with Lupus had a new patient visit on 1/27/22 with Dr. Yglesias. The appointment didn’t even last 10 minutes. Dr. Yglesias was very short and dismissive. New patient visits shouldn’t last only 10 minutes. He didn’t ask if she had any questions. He simply gave off the impression that he couldn’t be bothered with anything. We sent the office manager, Sara Schub an email expressing our concerns over the visit, which went unanswered. My mother had a follow up appointment today at 10:45 am. At 9am she received a call from the office to say her appointment had been cancelled. When she asked why the reply was “we just don’t have any appointments today.” She wasn’t offered a new appointment. I’m so taken back by the lack of care and professionalism of this practice.
