Dr Kohl is very caring in his approach to treatment.

I had a couple of bad experiences at Eye Associate of BR. Both had to do with doctors more worried about getting paid than about quality care. I had cataract surgery with Dr. Ramirez. My insurance company paid completely for the services but she once refused to see me to go over the expected procedure because she was not able to locate my 'referral'. I had to call on the manager to make this doctor see me which she did reluctantly even though she was paid for my visit. A few weeks later I was experiencing tearing in the eye that had the surgery, blurred vision as well as a chronic headache. I was assigned to see a Dr. Burr the next day. He refused to see me because he wasn't sure my insurance company would pay him. Neither this doctor nor others present at the time, had the initiative to examine me and make a recommendation. These doctors supposedly read the Hippocratic Oath and agreed to treat patients in need. But it has come down to greed replacing consideration for patient in need
