Bad Experience with Kapelow
If you're not elderly, you won't be taken seriously. Dr. Kapelow did not take my joint pain seriously as it moves from one joint to another. She snapped at me that it's just arthritis - ok, what type? What shall we do about it? When I went for my follow-up to review the MRI on the finger that NEVER bothered me, Steve, the nurse, called my name in the waiting room. When I presented myself to Steve, he said that I couldn't be Tiffany and continued to call my name. When no one else responded to my name, he checked my last name - yep, it was me all along!I waited 35 minutes for my 10 AM appointment with Dr. Kapelow and had to leave. I have a job. Julia called me at 11; Dr. Kapelow told her she'd stuck her head in my room at 10:25. She didn't. She either had me confused with another patient, or she was outright lying. I told Julia to check the security cameras. Dr. Kapelow has no empathy, and she may be a liar. They charge a walkout fee for a reason - people are sick of waiting!

Horrible!!!!
This is one of the worst medical offices that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The only thing I can equate this practice to is an unscrupulous used car lot. The attitudes that the doctors here have are horrible. They act like they are better than you and have no idea what they are doing. The level of care is horrendous. I spent almost 2 years trying to get answers on what was wrong with me, got shuffled around to different doctors, and none of them were on the same page. They take forever to call in prescriptions and you have to call 15 times to follow up on them because they don’t do what they are supposed to do. My wife went in and waited in the office to speak to the doctor and was accosted by the office manager. She was with my 3 year old daughter. They didn’t apologize they just made like my wife was crazy and then all of a sudden Dr. Hirsch wanted to handle my care personally. I saw him once and was pawned off to his assistant. The last straw with this office was

How Ridiculous is That
Last week I made an appointment with The Hirsh Center in Delray Beach. They are rheumatologists. When I arrived they gave me new patient paperwork that included a blanket credit card authorization and a Statement of Charges form that included a $50 cancellation fee and a $75 walkout fee. I objected to both and told them I would not give them blanket credit card authorization so they said I would then have to pay in advance at time of visit. When I asked about the statement of charges they said if you wait more than 3 hours there will be no walkout charge. I told them this is not the kind of physician practice I am used to so I told them to rip up my paperwork and left. Saturday I got a bill for $50 for cancelling the appointment. Today when I spoke to the billing office they told me I had the appointment and was informed at time of service of the fees and by leaving they were entitled to bill me. How ridiculous is that? PATIENT BEWARE!

They’re great!
Dr. Kapelow is wonderful! Such a good bedside manner, and she knows her stuff! I highly recommend the Hirsh Center for senior-citizen knee issues. My mom got the help she needed in a clean, efficient environment.

Amazing Practice!
I love walking into The Hirsh Center because I know I am being treated by the best physicians and mid-levels in Palm Beach County! The staff is top notch and always greet every patient with a smile. They have a beautiful infusion center too. I see the nurse practitioner, Javier Chiriboga-- he is the best!

Amazing Office!!!
The office is decorated nicely, and the front desk girls are pleasant. Minimal wait. The medical assistants do a thorough review of your information and medications. The doctors are so knowledgeable and answer all of your questions. I received a cortisone injection in my shoulder and it never felt better! Prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy in a timely manner. I would recommend this office to everyone! Everyone here is so nice!

The medical treatment was appropriate, however, patient care was not. When I got a cortizone shot for my hip, I was not told that most doctors would not operate for 3 months. When I got an infusion of Reclaste, I was not told that flu-like symptoms could occur for several days. When I asked, the tech said I might have a slight headache. What if I had a wedding to attend? If I didn't consult Dr. Google, I would have rushed for a Covid test. It is day 2 and I still feel terrible.
