Florida Heart Associates

My first appointment they were 1 1/2 hour late getting me in. They never took my blood pressure or heart rate prior to seeing the doctor. Recommended a cardioversion procedure that we never discussed with me by the doctor, without having any of my loop recorder data, which indicates no afibrillation for the past 12 months. They were supposed to get my hospital records from another location and never followed up. They were supposed to transfer my loop recorder information from prior doctor to their office and never followed up, leaving unmonitored for a month. Back office staff totally unorganized, very unprofessional. Florida heart is a factory that just want to bill and do procedures. I would run the other way from this organization.

Some of the staff are cold and only bark commands. It took 1.5 months for them to acknowledge my referral. Now I'm trying to get the heart cath scheduled they say I should have and they don't respond at all. I've never seen the same provider twice! Very poor customer service. Life threatening actually.
