Primary Medical Physicians - Johnson

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Pena since my previous physician Dr. Vera who was amazing no longer worked at primary care. It took an entire hour to be taken from the lobby to the examination room. Then I was subjected to the lab tests which I found odd since typically this is done after I see the physician and let them know about my ailments and my needs and concerns. Another hour went by where I had been sitting in the examination room on a hard chair; mind you I came fasting for my labs and it’s already 12:30 and I’m a diabetic. A couple of nurses walked by and looked at me and kept walking as if I wasn’t there. Since two hours passed and not a single person had checked up on me since my tests I went to front counter to ask about the Dr. Pena. I was simply told he always takes this long. This is unacceptable, specially after being ignored for two hours. The young lady who drew my blood half way in was very polite and you can tell she was embarrassed about the long wait. B
