Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Jacksonville - Philips Hwy

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Advanced Dermatology From the moment I arrived, I was met with an incredibly rude and insensitive attitude from the front desk staff. They seemed more interested in enforcing policies than treating patients with respect or understanding. Additionally, while I was late due to a major accident on the I-95, which was out of my control, I was still charged a $50 fee for not being 'on time.' There was no flexibility or compassion shown for the situation. I understand that lateness can be an inconvenience, but emergencies happen, and I expected some degree of understanding.As for the actual appointment, I waited more than half an hour to see the doctor Erin Hector only to have a rushed consultation that barely lasted five minutes. It’s frustrating to pay for a service that feels impersonal and hurried after such a long wait.

Scheduled appointment 2 weeks in advanced, schedule department asked for insurance co, policy number, DOB….Received text messages and emails, reconfirming appointment.Took off half a day from work to drive there from Saint Augustine, to be told, that they don’t take my insurance !!!!What a terrible business model !!!They all want to be reimbursed for they time, who will reimburse me for my time ??? Of course it’s easy to say “sorry”But I can’t add your sorry for my missing wait time, work time and gas.
