Brevard Physician Associates

The associates in the billing department just plain lie and cannot do their job. Four times I have been told that the bill was submitted to my secondary insurance, Tricare for Life, and four times I have received another bill from them for the exact same amount. They have a monopoly and they are incompetent. In the 9 years I have had Tricare for Life I have never, ever, had a co-pay.

I have dealt with BPA three times. While their anesthesiologists are fine doctors, the billing department is a joke. They have the worst billing system conceived by man. Three months after paying a bill I receive another bill for the same amount. Upon calling I was told 'We can see when you logged on, but there is no evidence of payment.' Thank goodness I had saved the electronic payment approvals. I was asked to upload the documents as well as my bank/credit card statement showing proof of withdrawal. The first web address provided didn't work. The second address would only allow one document to be uploaded. After recovering from a surgery or other major health issue, the last thing a person needs is to deal with an ineffective billing department that cant figure out if a bill has or hasn't been paid.
