I am compelled to share a disheartening experience with Miami MDs for Women, which has deeply affected our trust in their administrative competence and customer service. Instead of resolving an insurance claim issue directly with our insurance provider, the responsibility was shifted onto us. Rather than rectifying the matter with the insurer, the practice threatened us with collections. Efforts to solve this amicably were met with unprofessional behavior, including an incident where a billing department staff member hung up during our conversation.This isn't our first administrative hurdle here, as we previously encountered reluctance from the practice administrator to assist with insurance verification, almost costing my wife her preferred doctor for the birth of our son. The consistent pattern of passing the burden to patients, coupled with discourteous interaction, leaves much to be desired in the administration's efficacy and professionalism at this practice.
