I got a horrible infection from a Liposuction done 11-01-21 . More than 2 years later I am still infected with mycobacterium Abbesses. I have had 5 major debridement surgeries at Uhealth and almost weekly incision and drainage with Dr.Lipo the first 6 months after the original surgery . Dr Lipo saw me the one month after my surgery , but I showed signs of infections 2 weeks post op. I was seeing the nurses several times a week because I was ill and I knew something was work. I had to be on IV antibiotics with a picc line for 3 months and then again for 3 months , oral antibiotics for 18 months. I lost hearing and my skin color changed due to all the antibiotics. Having this surgery has destroyed my life physically and mentally . My body is completely disfigured. I was cut open from hip to hip and my skin was lifted to clean out infection and the wound was left open for 4 months to close without stitches. Unable to work and 10’s of thousands dollars deep in medical bills .
