Retina Macula Specialists of Miami

I am leaving this review for the business Retina Macula, not for the doctor himself. My doctor is great, the office staff is total garbage. My first experience with this company was at their Coral Gables office on 10/25/21, that was for my initial exam. While in the examining room, the nurse asked why my name was different on some of the paperwork. I had to answer her question by telling her it seems like there's 2 files mixed together. Honestly, she couldn't figure that out for herself?? She left the room to correct the issue and came back. I then met with the doctor and he determined I needed emergency retina surgery so we scheduled the surgery for 11/3. From 11/1 to the surgery date of 11/3, no one would return my calls to tell me where or what time the surgery was scheduled for. I ended up not getting surgery because the surgery coordinator named Regula, was overwhelmed with work and forgot to schedule me.
