The Franz Center

If I can save someone else I will. The first sign should have been that I was hounded once I inquired to sign up. When I had my first appt canceled the day before that I waited a week for and “found out” on my own the MD doesn’t see children unless requested virtually and only on Fridays I decided to go elsewhere. They wouldn’t refund my money and were no help. I was told my money wouldn’t be refunded due to them using their “time”. Obviously not in the business to “help children holistically” as advertised. Very sad what our medical community has come to. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

We are told a $35 monthly charge is because they are holistic and insurance doesn't always pay so we have been paying it for months now. I drive an hour to get there and am told I have to pay 100% before leaving the office because they show my insurance as inactive (apparently the $35/month is for nothing). They would not work with me at all or send me a bill so I can figure it out before paying. That was not all, I was there with my 3 children and was repeatedly told I had to have someone else there because I can't be in 2 rooms at once. It's just me right now and she kept telling me I should have been told which I was not. After paying monthly, driving an hour away, missing work and keeping kids home from school they did not care at all, didn't even fake it. Sadly we like the doctors but the office staff and management is horrible and does not care about you or your children.

Very friendly office. Great service for all employees. Very helpful. Dr. Franz was wonderful. Would recommend 100%.

We have been with Dr Franz for over 10 years, and her office keeps growing & improving every year with helpful & knowledgeable staff, minimal wait, clean & relaxing exam rooms, and list of knowledge and classes for parents to learn more about their children's health needs. Our children had health problems other pediatricians couldn’t figure out, but Dr Franz & her staff helped us find the root cause and our children’s health improved tremendously. In my opinion, Dr. Franz is the most intelligent & helpful pediatrician in Orlando.

Love our experience with the Franz center both in person and virtually! They went through a season of staff shortage and it was a frustrating time for both the patients and staff but I am thankful for their holistic approach and care with our son!

We are so grateful for The Franz Center. Their philosophy, is by far, the best in the state, possibly the nation. Im from Miami Fl and was never able to find a homeopathic provider, until we moved here. Truly appreciate that they take their time with each patient. I wish people would be more considerate of the fact that certain health conditions patients have, are serious, complex, issues that can take extra time. We don't mind the longer wait times because we appreciate them taking time with us too! Beyond that, the level of care is well worth the wait. (We bring books, coloring book + crayons or small, quiet toys to keep busy:) What we love most about the Franz Center, is that we are treated as individuals, with unique needs. We have had an annual well visit and one sick visit, with nurse practitioners Nikara and Hillary, both great. We hope to have the next annual exam with Dr. Franz.

The Franz Center used to be a decent practice. However, since the covid, they have become absolutely impossible to deal with. They complain of constantly being short-staffed. They will unilaterally "convert" your child's in-person appointment to a virtual appointment. Then if you complain about it, they will not apologize, but rather will chastise you for daring to complain about it, insisting it is not their fault. Yet, I don't care whose fault it is. It is not my problem. I need a doctor that is reliable. To that end, they now have a call center that answers because it is like an hour hold time. Nobody calls back or emails back. The call center will just put you through to a voicemail and then no one calls back. Most recently, my daughter was seen and was promised an email with a list of prescribed items. We did not receive it. Days went by with attempted emails and phone calls. When I finally heard back from the manager, she left a voicemail that dismissed me from the practice.
