Dr. Markus Klaus Rheumatology

Dr Klaus is truly interested in his patient's lives. I have severe arthritis everywhere- spine, neck, hands, wrists, hips, knees, legs, toes! When a new severe pain developed in my right knee, Dr. KLAUS referred me to an orthopedics in the area, hoping that he could get a surgeon to go into the joint, scrape some of the arthritis away from that part of my knee. The only surgeon in the practice to which I was referred who DOES that sort of surgical procedure I need, simply refused to consider that surgery. I was shocked at his reason: he refused to help me because I am on two narcotic drugs-as I have been for over thirty years! I had a twelve hour spinal surgery in 2013. I don't understand that being his basis for refusing to help me. Dr Klaus wants to help his patients. I wish everyone had his drive!
