I strongly advise against taking a loved one to La Colonia. Instead of improving my mother’s health, their dismissive care led to a steady decline. The doctors only offered routine checkups without addressing real concerns, prescribing medications without proper explanation.I requested essential medical equipment, but the general manager, Jorge, didn’t even know what some items were—at a medical clinic! Despite following every step with insurance and the DME provider, they refused to prescribe a hospital bed, giving inconsistent excuses.They also failed to provide my mother’s medical records, despite repeated requests and promises. When I followed up, they suddenly claimed she was no longer a patient and refused to give me any information. Even their HQ promised a resolution—still nothing.When I questioned them, they became defensive and dismissive. I’ve moved my mother to a better clinic that actually cares. Avoid La Colonia at all costs.
