Pediatrix Urology of Florida at W Boca

If I could give this practice 0 stars, I would. I will never ever use Pediatrix Urology ever again based on their shady billing practices. We were required to have a telehealth appointment prior to our in person appointment with our son. I chose this practice because the Dr was in network with my insurance. However, when I received a bill, it was billed as out of network. Surprise! My telehealth appointment, which was required by the practice, was conducted by a non-covered provider and they did not advise me or my husband of this. We paid over $800 for a 10 min virtual appointment that was completely unnecessary (unfortunately telehealth appointments are exempt from balance billing laws). When I called to ask about this, Pediatrix Urology refused to adjust the bill or bill through a different provider to get us covered in network. Abysmal customer service and predatory billing. Who charges $838 for a 10 minute telehealth appointment? I am so upset about this and they have been rude.
