I was given bloodwork and told to do it in time for my next appt, so I did. My results were not available to me in my LabCorp so I called to get them over the phone, as most places will do. The first person who answered the phone said my results had been reviewed and she would transfer me to the medical assistant, who could give them to me over the phone. I was taken off hold, and not greeted. Instead, in a condescending tone, I could hear the lady talking about me unprofessionally, saying how it was because I got my labs done too early as if she was annoyed that I did so and I had done something wrong. She told me that my appointment to get my labs was in March and I would get them then. Now, mind you, it’s December. She then told me she would schedule me a phone appt but then just kept reprimanding me telling me I couldn’t get my blood results back because I was a new patient. She kept talking over me in a rude tone. I asked her nicely to stop. She didn’t and did not apologize.
