Prime MD Miami

I had an extremely concerning experience during a recent visit. I switched insurance and went to PrimeMD Miami to establish a new PC. I had no symptoms or concerns going into the visit. Jessica Gonzalez, NP saw me and then my blood was going to be drawn by her medical assistant. The assistant made 3 unsuccessful attempts to draw blood. During the 3rd attempt, I fainted. Care was not provided afterward, the NP was not informed of the incident, and it was not documented until I formally requested it.Later that day, I experienced pain and bruising on the left side of my body. When I contacted the office for more info, I was told that I 'slumped over' but did not have any hard impact during the time I was unconscious. Due to the lack of information provided and the severity of my pain, I went to urgent care to confirm that I did not have a concussion or other injuries. I will not return to this office and I recommend that patients heavily consider their decision to receive care here.
