ForCare Does Not Care About Patients
Recently, I fell asleep in a leather recliner wearing a v-neck (in back) gown and on Sat morn. I had a blotchy red area on my back the size of appetizer plate, an indented area around the bottom of that area that appeared to be from the gown and raised bumps resembling blisters. On Sun night, I drove to an ER, as the itching and pain were unbearable. I explained that neither the recliner or gown were new, I hadn't eaten anything unusual or gone into the woods, and we had not changed our laundry detergent. No clue, per ER. I got an appt on Tues at Forcare. Nurse Carlos & PA, Kassandra, conveyed concern about this strange area on my back, but did not have answers. Kassandra consulted with a 'doctor' (she only said 'the doctor') and I was met with the following, 'the dr said to throw away the gown and don't sit in that chair.' What?! I was peeling scabs off of my back a week later, as if I had been burned. I won't go back to Forcare and as there are many dermatologists. Shameful
