Ordered a new pair of eyeglasses. I followed up two weeks after placing the order, and I was told to continue waiting. I was told that the frames and lenses were ordered, and they were just waiting to receive them. One month later, they call me to say that the frames are on backorder and will not be available until the end of 2021 (5 more months / 6 months considering they took a whole month to tell me the frames they sold me are not available). They are only giving me the option of picking out another frame or waiting until the end of the year. Alternatively, they are reaching out to one of their sales reps to see if they can find the frames at a different retailer. I went to St Lucy’s because my insurance was expiring. The insurance that I used is not longer active, and I would lose the benefits of what the insurance covered if I cancel the order. This is unacceptable at all levels.
