HCA Florida Institute for Women's Health and Body - Wellington

I hate to write this. I have taken time to reflect and am still so bothered by my experience. I had been a patient of Dr Collins’ for nearly 20 years. I LOVED this doctor so much and never wanted to not see him. I called 12 times to get an immediate appt, as I found out I was finally pregnant after years of trying. I am 40 and didn’t think I would get pregnant, due to how long we tried for. I was filled with excitement when I found out. I called 12 times for an appt and was brushed off. The last call I demanded for him to call me back, as I had been calling for two weeks and was getting anxious. I was told “It’s not that big of a deal to get in. This can wait.” My heart broke that I was treated this way because I LOVED Dr Collins. Thankfully, due to working in a hospital for so long, I have found an amazing doctor who took me on IMMMEDIATELY and saw me same day. He will deliver my first and only baby. Such a shame his staff doesn’t care. Still haven’t rcvd a call back 4 months later!
