Abruptly Terminates Patient
Husband finally found a psychiatrist he was comfortable with and saw her for several years before being abruptly terminated during the pandemic without being given a reason. He had been doing better when she dropped him as a patient without any warning during a telehealth visit. To her credit she did give him a referral and he tried several other psychiatrists but never connected with anyone and eventually he just gave up. He was never given a reason why he was being dropped as a patient during the telehealth visit and he paid his bills, showed up for appts., etc Being dropped by your psychiatrist was not good for his mental health.
