I wanted to wait until I was at the end of my program to give a full account if my experience.I started with Dr Bindiya in February and during my consult the first commitments she wanted was that I would do my part to reach my health goals during 6 month program. I turned 68 two months ago and I've had a learning health journey for about 20 years. In 2009 I turned 54 on my way to Iraq for a one year tour. Climbing into and MRAP was not the only physical challenge. In my sixties, though, everything seemed more difficult. Insulin resistance. What does that mean? How do you change that? High cholesterol: doctors were not that helpful except to give you a prescription. I'd become discouraged with general medicine-not broken bones or dental care-but the decline of my body and the lack of medical interest in prevention. I did several things right, addressing sugar, limiting toxins, and getting some exercise. I lost some weight with Keto. But I came to the point where I wanted real answers.
