If you lack sympathy, understanding, and professionalism, you should not be working in healthcare. My husband received his brain tumor diagnosis over the phone—not from a doctor, but from a nurse or administrative staff member. This is completely inappropriate and shows a disturbing lack of awareness of both the scope of their roles and the sensitivity required in delivering such critical news. Nurses and admin staff are not qualified to deliver diagnoses. This should only be done by a doctor or a mid-level provider.Dr. Pearlstein should have higher ethical and moral standards than what is currently displayed at his practice. It is unacceptable that such a practice allows this kind of behavior, and it speaks volumes about their lack of consideration for patients and their families during incredibly difficult times.

I really like Dr. Pearlstein ,but his nurse is very slack. Dr.Pearlstein prescribed a certain medication for me ,which I had to call his office and request a refill,I always waited the full thirty days before I called his office for my refills. Many times I would speak to the nurse and request a refill for my medication,and most of the time it would take her a full week to send a prescription for walmart to refill.The last time I tried to get me medication ,I was completely off the medication and it was bad for me!!! I called the nurse 5 times in 2 weeks and left messages requesting my meds.she never returned my calls ,no emails,no contact from her at all.So I decided if she was so slack ,maybe I dont need to be involved with this office. I didnt show up for my last appointment on Oct.14,2021 and now she wants to charge me $75.00 because I didnt show up!!! NOT GONNA PAY IT!!!!John Haarold Rhodes 10/21.2021
