Couldn't care less about his patients.
After more than a decade of being a patient with Dr. Jackson my company was purchased by another company and it took a while to get insurance paperwork handled, in the meantime I had an appointment with Dr Jackson (just to get refills on 2 regular meds that I take daily) and was told that because my company was taking their time getting our insurance paperwork done my appointment would be self pay which I figured wouldn't be a big problem, but no, the self pay option was almost $500 just to get medication refills and they said they don't do billing for self pay patients and I would need to pay the whole amount prior to seeing the doctor. I explained the situation again and asked why the appointment would be so expensive just to get meds refilled? They said it's just our policy that you have to pay in advance for any services. They wouldn't even just refill my meds. After more than 10 years as a patient, this is how little I mean to them. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
