Excellent experience. I was referred to Dr Wilcox for radiation and he spent over an hour with us explaining the procedure, what it could and could not do for me, what to expect and answering our questions. He’d read my file and was familiar with the details of my situation.Because I required dental clearance to begin a course of bisphosphonate infusions and my appointment wasn’t until December (new to Hawaii,) he took it upon himself to make several phone calls. He first called the dental office and explained the need for expedience, and, in case they didn’t follow through, he then called a dental colleague and arranged for me to be seen by him ASAP. The original dentist office got me in the very next day. What blew us away was this part of my treatment had nothing to do with radiation and yet he took the time and trouble to ensure it would proceed in a timely manner.Aside from all of this, Dr. Wilcox was patient, thoughtful and kind. I highly recommend him.
