If I could give 0 stars, I would. My experience at heartland was quite traumatic and resulted in me crying in the car in shock after my appointment. The nurse would not listen to my concerns, she kept interrupting me and cutting me off, I asked if I could show her the spots on my skin and she kept saying "I don't need to see them, I know what they are by what you've told me." and even when I told her I was extra concerned due to a family history of a different condition she still refused to see them and kept cutting me off. I also had pictures of the spots from when they were worse, and she also refused to see those, scoffing at me and making me feel very stupid. When the doctor came in, everything was incredibly rushed and they really did not explain treatment. Next thing I know they were removing a mole which they assured me would not hurt at all and would not scar and did not give me an option. It was incredibly painful, I have a huge scar, mole was benign.
