If I was able, I would give 0 stars. I have typically had poor service from the office staff, but usually look past it because I like my nurse practitioner. As of now, I will no longer be a patient of Lake Forest Internal Medicine in Libertyville. When asked to be seen for a chronic vs acute cough, which the nurse practitioner previously attributed to allergies, I was told by the office staff I couldn't be seen without a negative Covid test. When I explained this issue was not an acute or new symptom, I was ignored. The office staff transferred me around and told me I was being offensive when I suggested I should speak about the kind of medical attention I needed with a medical professional. At that point, I asked to leave a message for my nurse practitioner and this was obliged.This morning my nurse practitioner returned my call and left me a voicemail, saying I could reach her in the morning via phone or by scheduling an appointment.
