Optima Family Dental

My husband and I unfortunately had a very bad experience here. My husband was told that he has periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning. When we went to schedule it we were told that the earliest available appointment was 4 months out. I am a person who stays calm, but do advocate for my family, I do like to understand why things are happening and I do speak directly. I questioned why the wait for an urgent procedure. I questioned why we couldn't make an appointment other office. No one was able to give me any clear answer. The next day I got a call from insurance saying that our policy had been CANCELLED by Optima Family Dental. When I called them to ask if this was true they said that it was because we seemed "unsatisfied" with the scheduling. Now he needs to wait 5 weeks- due to our insurance- to even get on a plan with a new dentist to help him with his periodontal disease. This seems so irresponsible to me. I don’t understand the ethics of these doctors.
