I saw Dr. Zats 8 weeks ago & she advised that I needed orthotics. She stated I should allow 2 weeks to hear back from her office to allow them time to get the proper authorization from my insurance company. I called exactly 2 weeks later and was advised by a staff member that Dr. Zats was on vacation the previous week, so they still needed time to complete paperwork for my insurance. Another 4 weeks went by and I still hadn't heard from them, so again I called and left a message with the phone attendant. I've called 7 times within an 8 week period. reached out to my insurance company myself & they advised they have received ZERO communication from Dr. Zats' office regarding my orthotics. My insurance covers 100% of this, so there is no reason this should take this long. Dr. Zats should fire her staff and start from scratch. Now I have to spend another $50 copay to go elsewhere to get this completed.
