Carle Cancer Institute was my choice for care and the initial appearance and professionalism of my TEAM was impressive for someone completely consumed in confusion and uncertainty. My first experience with a nurse navigator sounded like a fantastic idea. It really would have been better if the navigator position had better staffing. Mine was always gone, little collected information was properly disseminated, conflicts surfaced regularly and the people filling in for her were never familiar with me.
