Rheumatology Associates PC

I was referred and called to schedule an appointment. I was told that the doctor would decide whether or not “we will take you.” I tried to explain my emergent situation and was cut off and actually told “we only look at what the referring doctor says, we don’t listen to what the patient says.” Wow!!! It’s been a week and I am very sick, in pain and waiting for a call to see whether I have “been accepted.” I’m glad I found out up front about their lack of compassion, poor follow up and utter disregard for potential patients wellbeing and health. So grateful that their poor practice protocols and customer service illuminated their true nature and I contacted IU Health who worked me in immediately and I am now under the care of an amazing Rheumatologist! God works in mysterious ways and led me to a provider who cares and listens to ME! Good riddance to this practice! Highly do not recommend.
