My Mother has been a patient of ISG for several years and up to this point has received excellent care. She is 91 and has very brittle bones and is prone to spinal fractures! She has had procedures to repair 3 fractures so far but still lives with constant pain! ISG has prescribed medication to help her control the pain until a week ago when we called for a refill! (ISG only gives my Mother 2 weeks of medication at a time). They informed us that they could not refill it anymore and said she would have to go to a pain management doctor! That’s fine, but they should have told us at the last refill that it would be the last!!!! We then would have had time to get the appointment and get the medication before she ran out!!!! There really was no explanation except that they don’t do long term pain meds! This was never communicated until now! Here we are at the holidays with no pain meds for our Mother! She is suffering thanks to ISG!!
