We met Dr. Cadogan initially in the ER Ball Memorial Hospital under stressful circumstances due to eventual diagnosis of septic shock secondary to perforated gall bladder and gangrene infection. He was patient and understanding as we had to cope with the traumatic effects of this ever changing life-threatening moment. Dr. Cadogan demonstrated empathy and we felt it. We experienced him as our provider in this situation even though my husband was the identified patient. Obviously, we are truly blessed and grateful for the surgical outcome; and, equally grateful that Dr. Cadogan was the one who met us in the ER with compassion and empathy on the fateful day (which will be forever named as another epox in the story of our family). During the inpt stay, Dr. Cadogan visited daily with genuine care and concern. We are grateful for Dr. Cadogan!
