Amazing Experience
Dr. Nielson and his entire team are truly outstanding professionals and so caring and personable, too! Dr. Nielson is an excellent surgeon and has a perfect bedside manner. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure our son was having and his fun-loving personality helped put our minds at ease. Our son's procedure and recovery couldn't have gone more smoothly!! I highly recommend Dr. Nielson & his team and would definitely use their services again!

I had a tooth extraction. I was so nervous. Dr. Nielson and his whole staff was so caring, supportive, friendly, and attentive. They had some good music on the background. Music is always my “go to”. I asked if they would turn it up and they obliged. This oral surgery truly never hurt. During or after. I would highly recommend Great Plains Oral& Maxillofacial Surgery. Everyone is great there. I thank Dr. Nielson, his hygienist, and whole staff.

Outstanding care and communication
The staff provided everything I needed to know before the day of appointment. The doctor and all support staff were very efficient with explaining the procedure. We had a last minute change in anesthesia plans and Dr. Nielson reassured me that it would be the best thing to do. He was right, and I had almost no pain the day after. Really talented staff who make potentially scary situaion go very smoothly. Highly recommend!

Tooth pulled

Great experience!
This was the second time in three years I had to have a tooth extraction. This time including a bone graft. Once again, everyone from the front desk to Dr. Neilson were very professional, personal, and made me to feel very at ease during my visit. Dr. Neilson's work is excellent, and his staff is well trained and friendly. If such services are needed again, I'll be glad to return to Great Plains!

Painfree tooth extraction
I've had the poor luck of needing 2 separate tooth extractions over the past year. Dr Nielson did them both and they were nearly painless and I suffered no post extraction problems. Dr Neilson even called to follow up!

Pleasantly surprised
I had an angry tooth removed and bone graft. The entire staff was professional and very personable. They were very thorough, and explained everything. I had ZERO discomfort or pain. Dr. Nielson even called me that night to check on me. I'm now 3 days out, and could not have wished for a better experience.
