Poor bedside manners/ No empathy
We made an agonizing decision to stop care for my mom after she had a major stroke and a neuro surgeon gave us a grim outlook. He came in the hospital room the next day and told us we made a terrible mistake by doing so.He made us second guess our decision and made us feel guilty . I wonder if he has ever been in the position we were in with one of his family members . He had no compassion or empathy at all just chastised us for the decisions we had made .Why didn’t he talk to the neuro surgeon before talking to us ?? Please avoid this doctor if you are looking for any kind of empathy . He has none . May he never have to walk in our shoes with one of his family members and have to listen to a doctor tell you what a grave mistake you have made :(
