I was dealing with an issue that caused me excruciating, debilitating pain where I could not even walk. I called the office and it took an hour to get a call back. Only for me to be told I could not get an appointment until a payment I had that was sent to collections was paid. So, the bill was paid and I called back and then had to wait another hour until I received another call. The nurse informed me I could not get an appointment for 24 hours until they made sure they got the money. I don’t care if this is “protocol” or anything but the fact that this clinic could be so money hungry and refuse to treat me because of a bill is absurd. This was an absolutely dehumanizing experience and I will no longer be a patient of this office because I would prefer a clinic that actually cares about me rather than money.
