I just had foot surgery on Feb. 1 ,2022. My genetic bunion was severe and required more than just a lapiplasty. But I am so thrilled, that here I am, posting my review just 3 days post op. Dr Lucius is a registered Center of Excellence for the Lapiplasty procedure. He was thorough and clear in his explanations; he really listened to and addressed my concerns , he answered all of my questions and he did a great job! I did have Lapiplasty, bunionectomy and repair of a 2nd toe dislocation due to the severity of my bunion. Recovery though early, has been fine and will I add more information to this review as I continue. Why did I wait so long...... I've seen many other podiatrists over the last 15-20 years but, having surgical experience I did not want the recommended, traditional procedure. Then I discovered Lapiplasty and found Dr. Damien Lucius.... This was game changing! Thank you Dr. Lucius!
