West Brookfield Family Practice

I have been a long time patient of this practice. Dr. Jones is nothing short of wonderful, but his office staff are in much need of improvement. Office never answers phone calls, patients are expected to wait over 15/20 mins to even speak to someone, they never schedule appointments or do referrals in a timely fashion, or send over prescriptions or prior authorization to pharmacy or insurance company. I honestly wonder what they do all day, seeing as they certainly aren't assisting patients by phone! They also refuse to turn phone lines on when they should be operating 9-5 & take much longer than the hour lunch break. I have had them shut the phones off as early as 4:30, when the practice does not close until 5! Or in the morning, they won't begin taking calls until at least 9:30! This is extremely inconvenient for patients, especially those of us who work or have young children & can't afford to spend all day playing phone tag. Also, they ignore you at the window upon checking in.

Waste of time unless it's a routine appt. Scheduled months in advance. Receptionist is rude, bothered by your inconvenience to her. Seems as if there is no one in charge of office.

Was a patient there for about 20 years. Got a 3 sentence letter they were dumping me this month. No reason given, no calls returned, rude receptionist. When I drove the 25 minute ride there for my last appointment, Angela Giza, an NP would not even speak to me! Wasted trip, with gas almost $5/gal, on lousy disability. They didn't even have the decency to save me that. They couldn't care less about their patients. If you go there, expect to wait 45 to 75 mins after your appt time. They love to overbook. Because their patients are just NUMBERS.
