Matthew D. Gold, M.D.

I took my girlfriend to see Dr. Gold to help her with a nerve related problem in her foot. We weren't excited or encouraged in our first meeting with Dr. Gold but we decided to give the doctor another try. The second visit was a follow up from diagnostics. Dr. Gold appeared largely unprepared -- it seemed like he didn't review the results ahead of time. Dr. Gold appeared annoyed and put out by the questions we had. Dr. Gold repeated some of the same in office tests from the first visit, when asked about this he mentioned he didn't record results so was doing it again. The visit was 1.5 hours in total, and it could have been condensed to about 5 to 10 minutes to discuss MRI results and next steps. We weren't clear about some of the things we talked about so we asked some questions at the end and he said 'I already answered that earlier you weren't listening'. I was appalled by his behavior. I don't think the time spent with him was efficient, valuable nor pleasant.
