Life-Altering Experience at Frederick Office
I began going to this practice for a fibroid after several imaging studies. I was told I needed surgery. At my pre-op, I was told the doctor I had been seeing would actually not perform my surgery & that it would be another doctor that I had never met. This doctor didn't perform the surgery that he was supposed to & instead performed an endometrial ablation. After surgery, we were told that the fibroid couldn't be removed because of how it was attached. The surgeon explained how it was attached using the exact phrasing from the explanation in the MRI radiology report. That information was given in the MRI report & shown clearly in the images, so why was the surgery attempted without reviewing this information? We were also told that I was scraped to relieve heavy periods. I didn't have heavy periods & never told anyone at this practice that I did. They did not have my consent to perform it. Now, years later, I have yet to have my periods return & still experience pain. Inexcusable.
