Mind(less) Institute
I scheduled a December appointment during the summer only to arrive at the Dearborn Heights office on the day only to be told I canceled. I tried to explain I didn’t cancel. The receptionist wouldn’t budge, insisting I canceled (because I show up for appointments that I have canceled, don’t you?).Two days earlier, I phoned Mind Institute to see if there was a chance I may come in the previous day I had a half-day at work (school) and was free during the afternoon. I made it clear I would be there for my scheduled appointment.Of course, Mind Institute opted for a centralized phone system (to save money, no doubt) where you get an automated directory of options. No live person was available, so I left a message. This was shortly before lunch so I figured I would phone back in the afternoon. When I did, I still wasn’t able speak to a human.I also sent a note through the company website’s “contact us” portal. I never heard back. So, I turned up at the scheduled appointment ...
