Dr. K has taken care of my mom for over 20 years. He is not only her cardiologist but he is also her vascular doctor who has helped her with leg pain associated with the veins in her legs. He has done numerous procedures to improve her quality of life. Dr. K has recently started treating wounds that are difficult to heal. He performs a new type of treatment called Mist Therapy. My mother has had a number of ulcers on her feet that has required this treatment. What a game changer for my mother, who because of her vascular issues as well as being a diabetic has a difficult time healing wounds. Another reason that we choose Dr. K to be mom’s doctor is because he gives his patients his private number. I’ve had to call him at 3 AM because my mom was having an allergic reaction to a new medication. He answered his phone promptly & was able to give advice on what to do for the reaction. When mom was in the hospital in Texas;Dr. K called the hospital & spoke to the cardiologist caring for mom.
