Midwest Heart & Vascular Specialists - Lee's Summit

Been a patient here for years and so was my husband. Used to be a great practice. I was sent to the hospital via an ambulance in May while on vacation and chose not to have a battery of tests done and come home and see Dr Brown. I made an appt when I got home and it took nearly 2 months to get in. Today they call me while I am literally driving to my appt and say “sorry we can’t see you today since you haven’t been here in a while you’re a new patient”. I’ve had the appt for almost 2 months and they only figure that out 30 minutes before I’m supposed to be there? The right thing to do would have been to go ahead and see me but I guess this practice isn’t interested in doing the right thing. The front and back office will ruin a Dr’s office for you everytime. It’s rarely the physicians fault. I will be finding a more competent office going forward. That is deplorable customer service. No one seems to want to do the right thing anymore sadly.
