I recently had an appointment here and was treated unfairly simply for advocating for myself regarding my insurance and payments.I contacted the office to clarify a billing issue, and after reviewing the matter with my insurance, I was proven to be correct—the office had mishandled the information, and I will be due a refund. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the owner, Joan Brower, abruptly ended my session after I pointed out the mistake. I was accused of “bullying” simply for standing up for myself, despite never being rude, disrespectful, or inappropriate in any way.A business in the healthcare field should be willing to work with patients, especially when it comes to financial transparency. If you expect honesty, professionalism, and respect, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
