Graystone Eye

Starting with my original visit in Hickory to my follow up visits in Boone, I could not have been treated any better!

I had a recent change in the vision of my right eye that concerned me. The staff understood my concern and almost immediately started checking out my vision. The doctor also saw me and identified and resolved my concerns.

Graystone has Caring, Knowledgeable, Friendly, Professional Staff. I was able to get an appointment when I needed. The venue is lovely and easy to wait in as the check in and professional assistance moves speedily along. They are up to date on all eye procedures. Their presence in our community is a great blessing.

Graystone Eye is the best for eye care. Dr. Lipscomb is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. I totally trust him. His assistants and office staff are the best- friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Graystone Eye to anyone needing care for the eyes.

I received personal attention from Dr. Lipscomb and several of his assistants. They were quick to understand my problems and quick to step in and help.

The 3 technicians that helped me were great...Dr Lispcomb was great as always, but it could have taken a bit less time...plan on 2 hours if you go there, but can't beat the service provided...

Everyone was friendly. My appointment was on time. Most of the exam was done by techs, but Dr. L did look at my eyes, provide a review and answered ALL my questions. Felt comfortable with my exam.

The people , with the exception of the front desk are not friendly at all, the exams are done be a tech and not by the doctor. Dr. Lipscomb's bedside manner is poor and his exams are very cursory. He spent about 5 minutes with me. Once Dr. Allen left the service has deteriorated. Both for my wife and myself they have not been able to get the prescription correct. I came back this year and they told me they would make me glasses, but if they didn't work they would not be able to do a remake. So I would be stuck with the gasses I couldn't use. I've had lasses since I was 2 and been to many eye doctors and never experienced such a thing. Terrible, terrible experience. Avoid them if possible.
