Went here for my first ever colonoscopy. As you can imagine I was quite apprehensive. Aside from the prep, the experience was actually very pleasant. Everyone was so kind and caring and before I knew it, I was done and heading out for breakfast! Kudos to you all!

The staff here is exceptional. They are extremely efficient (it’s a busy practice!) but take excellent care of you. Dr Lappas is my provider and he’s wonderful. The only challenge I’ve had is getting through to the office via phone - they seem to have intermittent telecommunication issues and it can be hard to reach someone. Overall great experience.

The staff was efficient and friendly. The procedure went smoothly and I was done and on my way quickly.

Friendly professional staff with smile (doctors, nurses and office) was available and attended all the time. Never felt alone.

All staff were friendly, professional and thorough at the endoscopy center. Everything went smoothly, with exception of running a little behind schedule, which was no problem.

It was a very painless experience. All staff were very professional and made me feel at ease.

Came in for a routine procedure, and no patient advocate is allowed back to be with the patient pre-procedure (ever other out-patient procedure facility allows pre-procedure family). CRNA pressured my wife into taking a sedation medication that she did not want, due to concerns over a possible reaction. Discredited her symptoms after administering and completely wrote off reaction symptoms afterward. Told me that she had issues post procedure and failed to document any of them so naturally the “review” of the case afterward found “nothing wrong”. Ended up with multiple ER visits and a hospitalization due to complications post-procedure and no concerns from the facility at all.

Staff was so nice! Everyone from the receptionist , Nurses, Anesthetist and Dr were kind and explained everything!

The staff is caring and attentive. They are all the nicest people and are excellent at their jobs.

Everyone is so understanding and nice. The whole thing doesn’t take that long. Not a lot of waiting. Everyone explains everything that is going to happen. Dr. Brody is excellent as is everyone. This wasn’t my first time. If it’s yours, don’t hesitate, an ounce of prevention…. It doesn’t hurt and you shouldn’t be embarrassed. You’ll be napping anyway! Make the appointment!

I’m curious which lab was used as the sample taken at my colonoscopy was irretrievable.

A colonoscopy is fun - said NO ONE ever! But good admin & clinical staff can make it easier to tolerate & get you on your way. Raleigh Endoscopy gets 5-stars for friendly, competent staff who know their jobs & know you are not there for the experience. The procedure is still the most effective diagnostic tool for colon or colorectal cancer at a time when cases are rising especially among young adults. It helps when everyone is nice but also efficient at getting you ready for your “cameo.” Actually you’ve already done the worst of it overnight, so thanks RalEndo for the assist.
