My feet had been hurting for months from corns and callouses that kept building up on them. So I made an appointment with Dr. Jason Nolan. Instead of meeting the doctor and getting answers to my foot pain, one of the girls there ushered me into a treatment room, spent all of 10 minutes clipping my toe nails and doing just a bit of sanding on my callouses with her Dremel tool and then went to call the doctor. He came in, looked at my feet, clipped a stray bit of nail on my little toe and told me I could soften the dry skin on my toes with some lotion. That was it! He was with me for about TWO MINTES MAX. No discussion about why the corns and callouses were forming, no suggestions about footwear, no nothing. I walked out of there with exactly the same pain in my feet that I had when I went in. And the "lotion" was $20 a tube. A royal ripoff from beginning to end. I DO NOT recommend Piedmont Foot and Ankle!

Continued…. They also wanted to sell me a splint for $250. I followed all the instructions regarding the orthotics but my foot, ankle, and lower back started to hurt even more than before. After 2 weeks I returned them and asked for my money back. They said they could not because they were not returnable, and I had signed a paper indicating that. They were not able to produce the paper and I know I didn’t sign one. I left the orthotics there and promptly put in a dispute with my credit card company. A couple of days later I received a call from Dr. Nolan apologizing but again, not willing to refund me the money. This by far was one of the most expensive Dr. visits and out of pocket expenses that I have incurred since I enrolled in Medicare. I know that others will have had different experiences, but this was mine.
