Unprofessional and Rude
I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks and was instructed by my Dr. to ask for medication from the anesthesiologist before my eye surgery. I was told by the anesthesiologist that I would be given a certain medication that contains Antihistamine that shows on my chart as an allergy. When I pointed this out I was told the medication was not an antihistamine and I would not be given anything else, I felt very humiliated and belittled while the whole time I was experiencing extreme anxiety in the beginning of a panic attack. Later the anesthesiologist stormed away while I was still trying to talk to her. I said I need something now. I was left alone experiencing a panic attack. The nurse reappeared and administered a medication in my IV. I remember nothing after that.
